Induction Oven works on the principle of electromagnetic induction of alternating current in the material to be heated. It is fast and gives consistent results as there is no direct contact between the heating element and the food. 

The alternating current is produced by passing an electric current through an impedance in the primary winding of the transformer. The alternating current thus produced is passed through the secondary winding of the transformer which is in the form of a solenoid.
